Where can I find information regarding the ‘carbon-footprint’ of solar panels. In other words, the energy that goes into the manufacturing of a typical solar panel system….. cells, converters, batteries…. etc.?
Thank you.
Good question. While the manufacturing processes for single and multicrystalline silicon photovoltaic solar cells is similar to semiconductor chip manufacturing, I unfortunately don’t have a definitive answer to your question concerning the carbon footprint.
